Nirupa is currently on secondment, supporting administration for the RMI-based Centre from Laucala. She has worked at USP for the last 10 years at PaCE-SD supporting a variety of projects, research and academic functions at an executive level. She is a USP Environmental Sciences graduate and an ANU alumni, having studied in Canberra on an ADB scholarship award. She has past experience working for the Fiji public service, a regional agency and alongside a few international environmental agencies. She has served USP the longest with a stint as a supporting lab technician at the Institute of Applied Sciences in 1997.
